CARROT FAVOR:

Hello there! I'm finally back from the dead...it wasn't quite that bad. But 2 months of this cold/sinus virus stuff and I was starting to feel like a zombie:( I need to let my grandbabies know that they can quit sharing for awhile:) I made this carrot treat holder for my Hostess this month using the Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags from the Occasions Catalog.

For the tag I used the set Birthday Blooms with Tangelo Twist and Pear Pizzazz ink~which I stamped off before stamping. I used the Note Tag Punch to punch it out and the 1/8" Circle Handheld Punch for the Old Olive Baker's Twine to go through. I made the flower using the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack with So Saffron Cardstock. I painted it with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and added a Basic Pearl to the center. I tied it with a bow using Pear Pizzazz Cotton Ribbon.

For the carrot, I used Sweet Li'l Things DSP, measuring 4" x 8". I scored the paper at 1/4" on the long side. I then cut along one of the seams of the cone bag and used it as a template by tracing the cone shape onto the paper. I repeated the process for the other piece and used Tombow Glue to adhere the pieces together, forming a cone. I trimmed the top off and added In Color Washi Tape. I added a Tea Lace Paper Doily and wrapped some Old Olive Baker's Twine around it. I then slid the decorated cone into the bag. I added a Reeses Peanut Butter Egg and tied the bag shut with a bow. I tried my darndest to cram 2 eggs inside but they wouldn't fit...sorry Brenda, I tried! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

BEAR HUGS CARD:

Hello there! I have a dear customer friend whose birthday is also Valentine's Day and I wanted to share the card I made for her. I used the Bear Hugs Bundle and saved 15%:) I started with a Real Red base and added a layer on top that I ran through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

I stamped the bear, heart & bow with Early Espresso ink onto Chocolate Chip & Real Red Cardstock. I  used the Bear Hugs Framelits to cut them out. I then turned the bear over and with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig, stamped the bears arms, and used a Bone Folder to give them a little bend. I stamped the bear's face a second time, cut out the nose with my Paper Snips, and attached with a Dimensional piece.

I snipped the heart border from a piece of Birthday Bouquet DSP and attached a piece of Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim to the back. I attached a piece of Gold Sequin Trim to a Tea Lace Doily with Glue Dots and adhered to the card base. I then added the heart DSP on top with Dimensional pieces. I attached the bear on top with Dimensionals.

I added the heart to the bear with a Dimensional and secured the bear claws with Glue Dots. I scattered a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim and adhered them with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Now I need to get busy making some Valentines for my grandbabies. Hopefully my head and body will cooperate and I'll have them ready to share tomorrow. Thanks so much for stopping by:)

EVERYDAY ADVENTURE CARD:

Hello there! Here's my last Creative Crew project for this month. We were to use a Project Life product to make a scrapbook page or project. As you may know, I'm not much of a scrapbooker so I used the Everyday Adventure Card Collection & Accessory pack to make a card.

I used the coordinating stamp set Remember This to stamp the background sentiment using Crumb Cake ink onto a Crumb Cake base. I layered a couple of the cards on top of each other and attached with SNAIL. I added some of the washi tape and stickers included with the accessory pack.

I finished it off with a few It's My Party Enamel Dots, found in the Occasions Catalog.

This card came together in a matter of minutes. If you're looking to produce a ton of quick & easy cards, think about the Project Life Card Collections & Assessory Packs. All of the coordination is already done for you. And what's even better is that this collection is currently on the Clearance Rack, so go grab it before it's gone! BEAR HUGS TAG:

Hello there! Got a short & sweet post for you today of another Creative Crew projects. I've been taking medicine for a week and feel no better~actually I feel worse, so I won't be on here long:( For this challenge, we were supposed to make a fun & flirty tag. I used the set Bear Hugs & coordinating Bear Hug Framelits.

I made a tag out of Whisper White Cardstock and used the Curvy Corner Trio Punch on the corners. I added a Real Red Cotton Ribbon bow. I cut out a bear from Crumb Cake Cardstock and stamped the cardstock with the bear image upside down on the upper half, so I'd get an image of the back of the head instead of the face. I then stamped the lower part of the bear and cut the arms off to put them behind her back as shown. I used Soft Suede ink.

I stamped the skirt in Soft Suede ink onto Watermelon Wonder Cardstock and the heart onto Whisper White. I ran them through the Big Shot using the framelits and I adhered the heart 'undies' to the bear. I added a strip of Tear & Tape to the bottom of the skirt and added a Watermelon Wonder Dotted Lace Trim ruffle to it. I added Dimensionals to the bottom and Glue Dots to the top and adhered on top of the undies. I added a Real red heart punched with the Owl Builder Punch.

I stamped the sentiment with Soft Suede ink onto Real Red Cardstock and cut it out with Paper Snips. I attached them to the tag using Liquid Tombow. I finished it off with a border of the Watermelon Wonder Lace Trim at the bottom. Well back to the couch for now, and back to the doctor tomorrow~hopefully getting something that will work this time! Thanks so much for stopping by:)

BLOOMIN' LOVE CARD:

Hello there! Sorry for the little gap in posting my Creative Crew projects. I've been fighting a sinus infection & bronchitis & it's been winning:( For this challenge we were supposed to combine Valentine's Day with No Brainer Day~don't know where they come up with these occasions??? So I figured it's a no brainer to put red & hearts together with Valentine's Day. I used the Bloomin' Love/Bloomin' Heart Thinlits Bundle for this project and saved 15% by purchasing them together:)I started with a Real Red base and added another layer on top that I ran through the Big Shot using the Bloomin' Heart Thinlits.

I broke down and got the Precision Base Plate and Big Shot Die Brush, which were recommended to use with this die, and they really did produce a perfect result. I laid the Multipurpose Platform on the Big Shot, laid the Precision Base Plate on top~sticker side facing down. I then added the cardstock, then the Bloomin' Heart Die on top, and finally a Cutting Pad on top. I ran it through once, put it in reverse & ran it back through, and then sent it through 1 more time. I took the cardstock from the Big Shot, laid it on the foam and ran the Die Brush over it~came out perfect every time!

I stamped the background flowers with Real Red ink, as well as the banner and used the Banner Punch to punch it out. I ran the flower dies through the Big Shot using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and punched a banner out of it as well. I adhered a piece of the glimmer paper to the back of the red cardstock uusing Liquid Tombow. Once that was set, I added the cut-out heart to the glimmer paper with Liquid Tombow as well. I stamped the sentiment with Real Red ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cut it out with my Paper Snips.

I attached the cut-out piece to the base with SNAIL and attached the banner with Dimensionals. I glued the flowers in place with Liquid Tombow and added Basic Pearls to the centers and around the sentiment. I think this die will work great for weddings & anniversaries as well as Valentine's Day. Stop back tomorrow for another project and thanks so much for coming by!

SKY IS THE LIMIT CARD:

Hello there! I want to share my 4 projects that I came up with for the Creative Crew Design Team this month. The first card features the Sale-A-Bration sets Sky Is The Limit and Perfect Pairings, and the Perfectly Artistic DSP. We were to focus on the DSP and make a thank you card for our postman or UPS person~a postal thank you day on February 4th I guess??? I started with a Whisper White base and added a layer of the DSP on top.

I stamped the plane image onto a piece of Basic Grey Cardstock with the same color ink. I used the Paper-piercing Mat & Tool to poke a hole and added the 'propellor' made with Vellum Cardstock. I used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack to punch out 2 flower shapes and attached to the plane with a Mini Brad. I then stamped the sentiment with Basic Black ink. I stamped 'Kindly' onto Whisper White Cardstock and stapled it to the grey with the Handheld Stapler & Mini Staples. I matted it on top of a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and adhered them to the DSP.

I punched out 2 clouds in Whisper White using the Tree Builder Punch, and 2 in Vellum Cardstock. I adhered the clouds to the DSP with SNAIL and attached the vellum on top with Glue Dots hidden underneath the cardstock. I stamped the cloud images with Basic Black ink and added a couple of strips of It's My Party Washi Tape. Finally I punched some stars out with the Confetti Stars Border Punch and attached them with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Although Sale-a-Bration goes through the end of March, 3 items are only available for a limited time. The Sky Is the Limit & Hello Stamp Sets, and Perfectly Artistic DSP are only available through February 15. On February 16, three new items will be available through the end of SAB. I'll be sharing them soon:)

WILDFLOWERING FIELDS CARD HOLDER:

Hello there! I want to share a pretty little card holder that I made for my Hostess this month. It features the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Flowering Fields and Wildflower Fields DSP. Both are choices that you can get for FREE with a $50 purchase:) I also used the Watercolor Wishes stamp set for the sentiments.

Inside holds a set of 4 sweet notecards with coordinating envelopes. I used the Big Shot and Envelope Liners Framelits to decorate the envelopes.

I stamped a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with Basic Black Archival ink for the sentiments and flowers. The ink is waterproof and holds up to coloring the flowers~I used Blender Pens with Calypso Coral, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Old Olive ink.

I cut the DSP in several designs and wrapped baker's twine around the DSP and tied a bow before adhereing to the Notecard bases. I used Crushed Curry & Old Olive Baker's Twine.

I adhered the DSP to the Notecard bases using SNAIL and added banners in coordinating DSP which matched the envelope liners for each card.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the cardstock and attached to the card base. The Note Cards & Envelopes come with 20 of each, so you could make 5 sets of these notecards with 1 package.

For the card holder, I started with a piece of DSP measuring 8 1/2" x 8 1/2". I used the Envelope Punch Board and punched & scored it at 3 1/4" and at 4", then rotated it around, scoring & punching along both lines.

You'll want to trim off the little squares on all 4 corners so the box will fold.

A thinner candy bar like a Hershey's bar would have worked a little better to have a flatter card holder, but I wanted to give her the good stuff:)

I added the notecards & envelopes on top and folded it up. I had to add a bit of Fast Fuse on the top flap to keep it shut since I used a bulkier candy bar.

I wrapped a belly band around the card holder measuring 10" x 3", scored at 2 7/8", 3 3/8", 7 1/2" & 8 1/8". I used Fast Fuse to adhere together. For the tag I used a piece of Old Olive Cardstock and ran it through the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I stamped the leaf images with Old Olive ink, stamping off on the sides. I stamped the flower image in Basic Black Archival ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and again colored it with Blender Pens and Calypso Coral & Old Olive ink.

I cut it out with my Paper Snips and added a couple strips of It's My Party Washi Tape. I added the flower on top with Dimensionals and used the Washi Label Punch for the sentiment. I stamped it in Watermelon Wonder ink and used a Bone Folder to bend the center slightly. I added SNAIL to the ends and adhered over the flower. I finished it off with a luscious Watermelon Wonder Stitched Satin Ribbon bow from the Occasions Catalog. I attached the tag to the ribbon with a piece of Crushed Curry Baker's Twine. My Hostess loves flowers so hopefully she'll be happy to receive this~and the chocolate can't hurt:) Make sure to come back tomorrow to see one of my February creations for the Creative Crew Gallery. Thanks so much for stopping by!
