A FEW WEDDING PICS:

Hello there! Just wanted to let you know that we survived the wedding and everything went beautifully:) We only had one panic attack on the day of the wedding. The alteration lady's daughter was also getting married on the same day. Our daughter Olivia went to pick up her dress on Saturday and there was a sign on the door that said Shop closed for Wedding. Why she waited til Saturday to pick up her dress is crazy...but she said the alteration lady was going to call her when it was ready. Apparently she never did. We were able to get a hold of her, and as soon as my husband said his name she said, "Oh my God, Olivia didn't pick up her dress!" So she was gracious and met us at the shop to get the dress. Whew! Until 5 minutes later when Emily called and said, "Sondra went to pick up her dress and the shop was closed!" Ugghhh... thankfully, she was still at the shop and was able to get the second dress as well!

You probably remember the favors that I posted earlier. 250 of these little gems. Thankfully, I had a wonderful friend who cut out all of these tops for me-stripes , no less!

My dear mother made I don't know how many batches of Chex Mix for the guests to munch on til the wedding party arrived, which turned out to be a really good thing, because the limo had a flat on the way to picking them up from the church! So we had a bit of a late start, but everything worked out in the end. We didn't get many pictures because I'm still hobbliong around with my gimp foot! No improvement yet:( But we'll have lots from the photographer next week hopfully, so stay tuned!!!

I also wanted to share this month's My Paper Pumpkin with you. I really like this one for a guy-perfect for a graduation. I didn't have to make any changes or add any embellishments-perect as it is! Love when that happens!

I did spiff up the envie a bit with a piece of Epic Day Washi Tape and stamped the chevron from Oh , Hello to finish it off. Can't wait to see what surprise I'll get in the mail next month:)

I'm off to get started prepping for our first Card Night in awhile-excited!!! Make sure to check back starting October 4th for the cards we're making this month. But be sure to stop back before than for lots of wedding pics! Thanks so much for stopping by and for all the happy wedding wishes:)

FLOWER GIRL/HOSTESS GIFTS:

Hello there! 2 days-eeek! Wanted to pop in and share the flowergirl and hostess gifts. I made a super easy purse with a 6x6 piece of DSP. I used the DSP Paper Stacks for these in Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, Tangerine Tango and Gumball Green.

Again, I used the super easy and fun Tag A Bag/Box Accessory Kit for the tags. I ran out of the Candy Dot Bases, but the Glimmer Brads were a good alternative.

Again, I know you get the idea, but I wanted to share all 5 designs with you, just because they're so darn cute:)

Emily got all the girls a Target gift card which fits perfectly inside the purse.

Again, I used the Monogram Alphabet and the Lots of Thanks stamp sets.

I used the Scallop Dotted Ribbon Border Punch for the trim, Itty Bitty Punch Pack for the flowers and added Basic Rhinestones to the centers. For the flap, I used the Large Oval Punch and added Velcro underneath to keep it shut. Finally I added Candy Dots along with Bases and added a button. The exclusive Baker's Twine comes with the Kits.

Well, off the finish up wedding decorations. Hopefully I'll be back to post the groomsmen gifts. Stay tuned...I'll have lots of weddings pics to share! Thanks so much for stopping by!

BRIDESMAIDS GIFTS:

Hello there! Only 5 days til the big day! I wanted to share the gifts we're giving to the bridesmaids. I thought the Tag A Bags and Boxes would make fun packaging and would work for the whole wedding party. We ran into a little snag, but worked it out. It would have been much simpler if I had found a candle to fit into the boxes before I ordered them, but with a little reconstruction they turned out fine.

Emily got the girls a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure and the brand new Envelope Punch Board worked perfectly to make coordinating envelopes. It's awesome...you can make envelopes in 26-I think, different sizes!

I bundled and saved 15% by adding the Accessory Kits to go with the bags/boxes. So much fun mixing and matching everything!

I used the Morning Post Alphabet to monogram each girl's gift. I cut out the letters and popped them up with Dimensionals.

The colors in the kits are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Gumball Green, Smoky Slate and Tangerine Tango. I used the DSP from the Paper Stacks except for the Gumball Green design which is from Birthday Basics.

The Accessory Kit includes the tags, baker;s twine and clothespins. I added the little flowers made with the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and added some Basic Rhinestones to the centers.

I tied the tags around the candle lids using Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Then I wrapped the entire box with Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon.

I used the stamp set Lots of Thanks for the sentiment.

I filled the bottom of the boxes with truffles and shredded paper.

You probably don't need to see all the boxes, but in case you want to duplicate 6 different gifts, I've done the thinking for you:)

I'll work on the flower girls gifts tomorrow and be back to share those with you as well.

I'm still waiting on the groomsmen gifts, but once I get them I'll show you the bags I made for them.

And last but not least...

Make sure to stop back for the other gift ideas and updates on the wedding. Thanks so much for stopping by!

HALLOWEEN HAPPINESS CARD:

Good morning! I wanted to share this fun little card with you before I get my day going. I used my favorite set in the Holiday Catalog-Halloween Happiness. I started with Basic Black base and stamped the pumpkins on Very Vanilla. I used Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit and Old Olive Markers, along with the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the stems where I wanted them.

The fun stripes are from Witches brew DSP and I added a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper along the edge that I punched with the Scallop Border Punch. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Black ink onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. I added a Neutrals Button with Linen Thread and curled the end by adding a little glue to it and wrapping it around a dowel. I tucked a little Old Olive branch underneath the button using the Bird Builder Punch.

Finally, I stamped the jolly jack again, cut him out and popped him up with a Dimensional. I hope he brings a happy start to your day. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day:)

CARD FOR SHELLI:

Hello there! I had a couple of days to play with some new stuff as I'm waiting for some wedding supplies. Our dear Shelli-SU! founder, was in a terrible horse-riding accident last week and I wanted to send her a card. You can read about it at www.soshelli.com. I decided I'm going to quit whining about my foot now.

I used the set Chalk Talk and coordinating Chalk Talk Framelits. I started with a Crushed Curry base and added some Eastern Elegance DSP-probably my least favorite in the catalog, but I thought it looked like something Shelli would like. The colors I used on the card are: Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate.

I also used the Scallop Trim Border Punch and Merry Minis Punch Pack. I used the Chevron Ribbon in Crushed Corry and Smoky Slate and the Ruffled Trim in Coastal Cabana. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to align the design at the top and added a Basic Rhinestone.

Sorry to post and run, but my paper came today so I need to get back to my favors. Check back tomorrow for a cute little Halloween card. Thanks so much for stopping by!
